Laurel Meadows Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Office Manager (BOM) to join our team in St. Charles, MO. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business office, including billing, collections, resident accounts, and administrative support.
We’re looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and experienced in long-term care financial operations.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of the business office, including billing, collections, and accounts receivable
Oversee Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance billing processes
Ensure timely and accurate submission of claims and follow-up on outstanding balances
Maintain resident trust accounts and financial records
Communicate with residents and families regarding billing questions and financial matters
Supervise and support business office staff (if applicable)
Work closely with the Administrator and clinical team to ensure compliance and efficiency
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility policies
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Business Office Manager in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care setting preferred
Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance billing
Experience with accounts receivable and collections
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office
