Laurel Ag & Water is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Construction Resource Planner (CRP) to support and enable successful execution of construction projects. The CRP plays a critical role in ensuring projects are properly resourced, administratively complete, accurately documented, and supported from pre-construction through closeout.
In addition to scheduling and resource coordination, the CRP is accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of construction-related data and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. This includes ERP transactions, timekeeping, purchasing, change order documentation, and project closeout. Errors or omissions at this level have downstream impacts on project cost tracking, payroll, billing, and financial reporting.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITY
The Construction Resource Planner is the steward of construction administrative accuracy. This role owns the integrity of construction data, documentation, and transactions across systems and ensures projects remain administratively complete from pre-construction through closeout.
- Pre-Construction Project Completeness Review
- Managing and supporting the construction schedule
- Assisting with per diem and hotel requests
- Supporting Underground Service Alerts (USA)
- Project purchasing and PO management
- Project documentation, change orders, and system updates
- Supporting information flow between departments
- ERP, timekeeping, and data entry support
- Project closeout administration
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to complete administrative work accurately and on time
- Demonstrated ownership of data accuracy and documentation completeness
- Ability to manage high volumes of transactions, documentation, and requests without losing accuracy
- Understanding that administrative errors have downstream impacts on payroll, billing, cost tracking, and reporting
- Comfort working extensively in ERP systems (NetSuite or similar) and related tools
- Ability to follow established processes and standards consistently
- Strong organizational skills to manage files, transactions, and records across multiple systems
- Willingness to document work clearly so others can rely on the information
- Proven ability to manage assigned work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong follow-through on tasks once assigned
- Ability to prioritize administrative work in a fast-paced, interrupt-driven environment
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work closely with Project Managers, field teams, accounting, and support departments
- Comfortable asking clarifying questions and escalating issues when information is missing or unclear
- General understanding of construction or irrigation processes and sequencing
- Ability to interpret field information and translate it accurately into systems and documentation
- Familiarity with construction terminology, tools, and workflows
