Role Overview
As an Account Manager, you’ll be a key member of our Sales team, serving as the bridge between growers and irrigation innovation. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you’ll own customer relationships, drive revenue growth, and work cross-functionally to deliver tailored irrigation solutions that exceed expectations.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growing organization and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Drive sales efforts across your assigned region
- Generate new leads through relationships, networking, events, and outbound efforts
- Manage and grow a portfolio of customer accounts
- Identify upsell and new product opportunities within existing accounts
- Meet or exceed annual quota and quarterly KPIs
- Maintain accurate CRM data and forecasting in NetSuite
- Lead the sales process from discovery through proposal and job launch
- Gather on-site field data and collaborate with design, estimation, and operations teams
- Present solutions aligned with customer needs and expectations
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in business, agriculture, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–5 years of B2B sales experience
- Strong knowledge of agricultural irrigation systems, components, and installation practices
- Understanding of agricultural practices and crop requirements
- Experience with sales and negotiation strategies
- Familiarity with heavy ag or civil construction practices
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, CRM software, and NetSuite (or similar ERP)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage large amounts of information effectively
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel (20–40%, depending on location)
