We’re looking for compassionate and flexible team members to join us as Float Direct Support Professionals. In this unique role, no two days are the same. Instead of being assigned to one home, you’ll receive a monthly schedule and work across multiple group residences. This variety allows you to build relationships with many individuals while keeping your workday fresh and dynamic.
As a Float DSP, you’ll assist with daily living activities, meal preparation, medication administration, and household responsibilities. You’ll also support recreational outings, community engagement, and skill-building—helping individuals live with dignity, independence, and joy. Requirements:
- Must be flexible and able to work a varying schedule assigned monthly
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- 1 year of experience in Adult Residential preferred but not required
- Must exhibit ambulatory ability sufficient to physically intervene in instances of extreme behavior that may jeopardize the safety of students and staff
- Basic computer skills

Locations: Across Cape Cod including, Brewster, Sandwich, Dennis, Yarmouth Port, South Yarmouth, Wareham Plymouth!
Compensation: $21.75 - 23.40 per hour (based on experience)

- Meal Preparation & Nutrition: Follow menus, prepare and serve meals, and implement designated diets for each individual served.
- Personal Care & Daily Living Support: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
- Medication Administration & Health Monitoring: Administer scheduled and PRN medications, comply with all MAP procedures, and monitor medical needs.
- Safety & Crisis Intervention: Conduct awake/asleep fire drills, provide non-violent crisis intervention when necessary, and implement all support, behavior, and medical plans.
- Household Responsibilities: Maintain cleanliness of the home and assist residents with personal and shared spaces.
- Community & Social Engagement: Support and transport individuals for activities, shopping, banking, and recreational outings.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work with peers, supervisors, and outside providers; follow ISPs and PBS plans; keep updated via Therap and house staff.
- Documentation & Compliance: Complete electronic health record documentation, attend all mandatory trainings and supervisions, and maintain certifications.
- Other Duties: Support individuals with any additional responsibilities as assigned by a supervisor.
