About the Role:
Lasting Impressions Child Development Center in Clarksburg, WV is looking for a passionate and nurturing Lead Teacher to guide and care for our youngest learners in the Infant/Mobile Infant classroom. Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for infants and mobile infants
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that supports early developmental milestones
- Monitor and document each child's growth, development, and daily activities
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom in compliance with licensing and health standards
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides
- Follow proper feeding, diapering, and sleep safety protocols in accordance with state regulations
Requirements:
- Experience working with infants and/or toddlers in a licensed childcare or early education setting
- Knowledge of infant developmental stages and age-appropriate curriculum
- CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or Early Childhood Education degree preferred
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
- Ability to meet West Virginia childcare licensing requirements
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented professional demeanor

Salary : $12 - $18
