Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Orlando, FL for the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of LPC LASE, a publicly traded company. The CFO will serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO and Board of Directors, with primary responsibility for the integrity, transparency, and performance of the company’s financial operations in a public-company environment.
Core responsibilities include leading financial planning and analysis (FP&A), overseeing SEC and other regulatory reporting, managing quarterly and annual reporting cycles, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all financial disclosures to investors and regulators. The CFO will develop and execute capital allocation strategies, support investor relations activities, and contribute to long-term value creation for shareholders.
Additional responsibilities include overseeing budgeting and forecasting, preparing and reviewing financial statements in accordance with GAAP, ensuring robust internal controls and compliance with SOX and other applicable regulations, and managing relationships with external auditors, banks, and advisors. The CFO will advise the executive leadership team and the Board on financial implications of strategic initiatives, M&A opportunities, risk management, and overall corporate strategy to support LPC LASE’s growth and market position.
Qualifications for the Chief Financial Officer – LPC LASE (Publicly Traded)
- Demonstrated proficiency in financial planning, capital allocation, and developing strategies that drive sustainable, long-term growth in a public-company environment.
- Extensive experience managing and reviewing financial statements, with a strong focus on accuracy, transparency, and timeliness in external and internal reporting.
- Deep understanding of corporate finance concepts, U.S. GAAP, and best practices in financial management, treasury, and risk management.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data, assess performance trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for leadership and the Board.
- Proven track record in financial reporting for publicly traded companies, including SEC reporting, SOX compliance, and adherence to all relevant regulatory standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience leading high-performing finance teams and collaborating with cross-functional partners, auditors, banks, and advisors.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- CPA or CFA designation is strongly preferred and considered a significant advantage.
- Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or related industrial sectors is highly desirable.
- High proficiency with financial systems, ERP tools, reporting platforms, and the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) to support robust analysis and investor-ready presentations.
