Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's sales strategy, with a primary focus on expanding national retail partnerships and driving revenue growth.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities while strengthening and growing existing strategic accounts.
- Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and relationship development through negotiation and contract execution.
- Expand distribution across national retailers while identifying opportunities within adjacent channels, including builders, developers, property management groups, and other strategic partners.
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline, accurately forecast revenue, and deliver against aggressive growth objectives.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Operations to support product launches, promotional initiatives, merchandising strategies, and customer success.
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer insights to identify new growth opportunities and refine commercial strategy.
- Establish scalable sales processes and provide leadership as the organization continues to grow.
- 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience within consumer products, durable goods, home improvement, building products, or related manufacturing industries.
- Proven success selling into large national retailers such as Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart, Target, ACE Hardware, or similar national accounts.
- Demonstrated track record of opening new business, negotiating complex agreements, and growing strategic customer relationships.
- Experience managing the full retail sales cycle, including category reviews, buyer relationships, forecasting, pricing, and inventory planning.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach to building revenue.
- Strong executive presence, communication skills, and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience selling into builder, contractor, commercial, or property management channels is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Ability to travel nationally as needed.
- This position is a full-time in office role in downtown Chicago, where you will sit side by side with all of leadership, driving business together.
- Compensation: $150,000-$165,000 base salary, based on experience, plus eligibility to earn performance bonus
