Staff Accountant

LaSalle Network is hiring for a Staff Accountant to join our client’s team in Bolingbrook, IL. This project-to-hire opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys hands-on operational accounting, month-end close activities and partnering across departments to drive accuracy and efficiency. The Staff Accountant will gain exposure to executive-level reporting, process improvement initiatives and key financial operations while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

As a Staff Accountant, You Will

• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations and reporting support
• Perform general ledger accounting functions to ensure financial accuracy
• Manage expense accounting activities and assist with variance analysis
• Support incentive and commission-related accounting processes
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
• Partner with multiple departments to support accounting operations and reporting needs
• Maintain accurate financial records while meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Assist with ad hoc accounting projects and operational initiatives
  
  

We're Looking For a Staff Accountant Who Has

• 1-3 years of accounting experience
• Experience supporting month-end close and general ledger accounting
• Knowledge of expense accounting and variance analysis
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including working with reports and linked data
• Experience working with accounting systems and financial data
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Concur or similar expense management platforms
• Experience working within SAP or another ERP system

• Compensation: $20-$25/hour
