In this HR role, you'll be hands-on in supporting frontline operations and people leaders—managing employee relations, compliance, hiring, and performance programs that keep the plant running smoothly.
What’s the job?
- Provide day-to-day HR support to plant leaders and hourly team members
- Guide team members on policies, benefits, employee relations, and process questions
- Partner with HR leadership to support employee relations investigations and resolution
- Ensure compliance with federal/state labor laws and internal policies
- Support staffing and onboarding efforts for hourly and salaried roles
- Assist in talent planning, performance review cycles, and employee engagement initiatives
- Contribute to culture, retention, and diversity-focused programs at the plant level
- Support labor relations efforts, including grievance tracking and resolution where needed
- Maintain accurate HR documentation and data integrity
- 3 years of HR experience (generalist, coordinator, or specialist level)
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills—comfortable supporting hourly employees and supervisors
- Solid working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field required
- Union experience (grievance handling, CBA familiarity) is a strong plus
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required
- $35.00-$40.00/hour
