Payroll Specialist Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring correct employee data, deductions, and benefits
• Maintain detailed payroll records and resolve discrepancies quickly
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, payroll policies, and labor laws
• Conduct orientations and support new hires during their first days
• Assist HR with onboarding tasks
• Handle employee inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality
• Support other HR and administrative functions as needed
  
  

Payroll Specialist Requirements:

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5 years of payroll experience, ideally within the construction field
• Experience with Sage, Excel, and CMiC is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Bilingual in Spanish
