What's the job?
- Perform non-destructive inspections using liquid penetrant, magnetic particle, and other applicable testing methods
- Evaluate components against customer specifications and acceptance criteria
- Develop and modify inspection techniques based on product requirements
- Conduct process control checks and maintain compliance with quality standards
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records within internal systems
- Assist with corrective actions, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support department throughput goals while maintaining accuracy and quality standards
- Train and mentor team members developing NDT experience
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Collaborate with quality, production, and engineering teams to resolve inspection-related issues
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current or previous NDT Level II certification experience preferred
- Documented training and on-the-job experience in applicable NDT methods
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents
- Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or quality-focused environments preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle parts of varying sizes and weights
- Must be eligible to work in environments requiring compliance with export control regulations
