What’s the job?
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys and legal professionals
- Screen calls, manage email and voicemail communications, and maintain attorney calendars
- Coordinate meetings, handle travel arrangements, and prepare detailed expense reports
- Draft and format correspondence, presentations, and legal documents with a sharp eye for grammar and formatting
- Manage matter intake processes, conflict checks, and maintain accurate client records
- Assist with billing processes and act as liaison with accounting as needed
- File documents electronically, manage legal correspondence, and maintain accurate case files
- Utilize Microsoft Office, legal document management systems, and proofreading tools to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Support the department’s workflow through collaboration and overflow task management
- Participate in pilot programs and special projects across the office
- Minimum 5 years of administrative experience, ideally in a legal or financial environment
- Strong typing skills (70 wpm) and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with document management systems and Visio preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
- Exceptional communication, time management, and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask, adapt to shifting priorities, and maintain confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail, independent judgment, and a proactive mindset
- Competitive salary ranging from $83,000–$110,000
