About The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Civil Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer to support a growing portfolio of industrial land development projects across the United States. This role offers exposure to the full lifecycle of development—from due diligence and site planning through construction support—within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate due diligence efforts including review of title, surveys, and site constraints
- Develop preliminary site plans, grading concepts, and utility layouts
- Prepare lease exhibits and support real estate documentation
- Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and other consultants to advance project design
- Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and cost estimating (quantity takeoffs)
- Manage and coordinate third-party consultants across multiple projects
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and permitting requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (PE license is a plus, not required)
- 5 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on land/site development
- Strong understanding of real estate and development documents (surveys, easements, permits, etc.)
- Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset
- Collaborative and team-focused approach
