Benefits Manager Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of all benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement plans, wellness programs, and leave programs.
- Oversee open enrollment planning, execution, and communication.
- Maintain accurate data within HRIS and benefits platforms; manage eligibility, enrollment, and changes.
- Manage relationships with insurance carriers, brokers, TPAs, and other benefit partners.
- Lead annual plan renewals, performance reviews, and service evaluations.
- Support or lead RFP processes for benefit plan changes.
- Oversee leave-of-absence programs (FMLA, ADA, parental leave, disability).
- Partner with HR, managers, and external partners to support employees through the leave process.
- Bachelors degree preferred; SHRM or similiar certifications are a plus
- 8 years of benefits experience
- Manufacturing, distribution or similiar industry experience require
- Strong knowledge of employee benefit programs and applicable regulations, including workers' compensation, leave of absence program, etc.
- Experience managing vendors, brokers, and benefit platforms.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (UKG or similar).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Salary : $110,000 - $132,000
