This is a hands-on, detail-driven role ideal for someone with strong accounting fundamentals looking to grow within a structured, fast-paced environment.
Billing Specialist Responsibilities
- Support high-volume client billing by reviewing dashboards, billing notes, and preparing accurate invoices in line with established guidelines
- Assist with billing analysis, reconciliations, and ledger reviews to identify discrepancies and escalate issues appropriately
- Partner with internal Account Teams and offshore partners (EXL and OGS) to resolve billing questions and ensure alignment on client requirements
- Support month-end close activities including accruals, WIP reviews, unbilled A/R analysis, and related reporting support
- 1–2 years of accounting, billing, or finance experience with a strong foundational understanding of accounting principles
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Strong Excel skills including formulas, data validation, and reconciliation work
- Experience with billing, invoicing, reconciliations, or ERP systems (JD Edwards / AS400)
- Hands-on exposure to high-volume billing, reconciliation, and month-end accounting processes
