Of Counsel - Complex Liability Litigation

A nationally recognized defense firm is seeking an Of Counsel attorney for its Atlanta office to handle complex general liability matters on behalf of sophisticated institutional and corporate clients. This is a direct-client role; attorneys within this group work alongside the clients themselves to develop litigation strategy, rather than receiving assignments through insurance carriers.

The caseload involves multi-party litigation, high-exposure claims, and matters that frequently require coordination across jurisdictions. Practice areas span premises and products liability, construction defect, catastrophic injury defense, and other complex tort matters. Cases often involve significant expert discovery, regulatory considerations, and the kind of strategic positioning that goes well beyond routine defense work.

Qualifications:

• 6 years of civil defense litigation experience with substantial exposure to complex, high-value general liability matters
• Demonstrated ability to manage litigation strategy across multiple parties and jurisdictions
• Experience working directly with corporate or institutional clients on risk assessment and case strategy
• Strong deposition and trial skills
• Georgia bar admission required or immediate eligibility
