Job Title: Learning & Development (L&D) Manager
Location: Bronx, NY
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual (English/Spanish) Learning & Development Manager to lead our employee training and onboarding initiatives in a fast-paced food and beverage environment. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging training programs that support operational excellence, employee growth, and a strong company culture.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding & Orientation
- Lead and continuously improve the new hire onboarding experience across all roles
- Facilitate engaging new employee orientations in both English and Spanish
- Ensure all onboarding materials are compliant, up-to-date, and aligned with company values and policies
- Partner with HR and operations leaders to ensure smooth integration of new hires
Training Design & Delivery
- Design, develop, and implement training programs for frontline employees, supervisors, and managers
- Deliver instructor-led and hands-on training sessions in both English and Spanish
- Create training materials including presentations, job aids, SOPs, and e-learning content
- Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve content based on feedback and business needs
Operational Training Support
- Collaborate with operations teams to identify skill gaps and training priorities
- Support compliance training (e.g., food safety, workplace safety, company policies)
- Standardize training processes across departments and locations
- Ensure consistency in training delivery and documentation
Employee Development
- Support career pathing and development programs for frontline and supervisory employees
- Coach managers on effective training and coaching techniques
- Help build a culture of continuous learning and development across the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, or HR
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (required)
- Proven experience designing and delivering training programs for diverse workforces
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills
- Experience with onboarding programs and employee engagement initiatives
Salary : $120,000 - $135,000
