My client, a Global Healthcare Manufacturer is experiencing a time of rapid growth and is therefore looking to hire a talented Assistant General Counsel. Reporting into the General Counsel, this individual will support various areas of the business, but with an emphasis on FDA/EPA/FTC regulatory law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide practical legal guidance to internal teams on a broad range of regulatory and operational matters.
- Leverage specialized healthcare regulatory law experience, including FDA, EPA, or related frameworks to guide internal stakeholders on compliance considerations.
- Support business units with diverse day‑to‑day legal needs, including reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to support initiatives and ensure alignment with applicable legal requirements.
- Monitor and communicate legal and regulatory developments that may impact business operations.
- Contribute to internal policy development, training, and ongoing compliance efforts.
- Manage outside counsel as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: J.D. from an accredited law school; licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Experience: 6 years in a highly regulated industry with preference for those subject to the FDA
- Experience with employment or litigation matters is a plus
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Salary : $200,000 - $239,000
