Who Are You?
You are a compassionate and reliable Certified Medication Aide with a strong attention to detail and a heart for helping others. You thrive in a team-based environment, value dignity in care, and are committed to supporting residents in maintaining independence and quality of life.
A Day in the Life:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, hygiene, mobility, and nutrition
- Accurately set up, administer, and document medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition, behavior, or response to medication
- Support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
- Build strong, respectful relationships with residents, families, and fellow staff
- Follow all safety, infection control, and confidentiality guidelines
Qualifications:
- License/Certification: Must be a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) and Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) with valid Kansas certification; CPR certification required
- Experience: Previous experience in assisted living, healthcare, or senior care preferred
- Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work collaboratively with a care team
