Job Summary (Zero Trust - Communications and Tagging Specialist): Brooklyn, NY
- Lead and execute application segmentation and dependency mapping initiatives to support Zero Trust architecture.
- Design, implement, and manage micro-segmentation and software-defined networking solutions for enhanced security.
- Collaborate within Agile teams to deliver project goals efficiently and effectively.
- Manage and coordinate Zero Trust projects from inception through completion, ensuring timely delivery.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, facilitating effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Act as a primary point of contact for client engagement, providing clear communication and updates on project status.
- Utilize and administer security and networking tools such as CISCO, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Bluecoat, Web Application Firewall/CDN, Splunk SIEM, MS Defender, Google Sec Ops, Crowdstrike, Powershell, Prowler, Rapid7, and STRIDE.
- Ensure proper tagging and documentation of assets and communications throughout Zero Trust implementations.
- Support the agency’s security posture by identifying, communicating, and mitigating risks related to application and network segmentation.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to Zero Trust and cybersecurity.
