Job Summary – Training Instructor (Norman, OK)
- Serve as Training Instructor delivering classroom training to adult maintenance professionals onsite at a federal government facility.
- No prior classroom training experience required; mentorship and training in classroom delivery provided.
- Hands-on experience or educational background required in at least one of the following: Electronics/Electricity, Avionics, Rollers/Mail Sorting/Conveyor Belts, PLCs, HVAC, Automotive, Facilities Management, or Mechanical Equipment.
- Deliver existing curriculum; occasionally participate in updating or developing training materials as part of a team.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to adult learners from varied backgrounds.
- Must be comfortable with public speaking and instructing groups.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must pass extensive background checks (criminal, financial, and USPS Sensitive Clearance).
- Full-time onsite role (5 days/week) in Norman, OK.
- Multiple openings available; 12-month contract-to-perm opportunity.
- Business professional attire required.
- Experience with classroom training for adult learners is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Strong preference for candidates with technical (electrical/mechanical) expertise over training-only backgrounds.
