Job Summary – Systems Administrator (Tyler, TX)

- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade server and endpoint operating systems and applications
- Administer enterprise servers, network devices, desktop computers, printers, and phone systems
- Manage and maintain Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
- Apply security patches, updates, and service packs as required
- Monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve server, endpoint, and network issues
- Perform operational support and maintenance of Microsoft Server environments, including virtualization, backup, and security platforms
- Support hardware, automation system, and software installations and deployments
- Assist with technical planning, architecture, and lifecycle management for new systems
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, issue resolution, and inventories
- Troubleshoot and repair networked and standalone systems
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure/Entra
- Strong AI tool skills (Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.)
- Troubleshooting skills across LAN, wireless, voice, and endpoints
- Experience with Wi-Fi network implementation and security
- Familiarity with scripting/development (ASP, .NET, VBScript, JavaScript, T-SQL, PowerShell, Power Fx)
- Able to manage multiple projects and participate in after-hours/on-call rotation
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
- Nutanix or clustered/hyperconverged environments
- Barracuda/Sophos security products
- Ubiquiti networking and Mitel phone systems
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Business Central
- Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and low-code automation
- Cloud platforms (AWS)
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and 3 years of relevant experience
- MCSE certification preferred or equivalent experience
- Prolonged desk/computer work
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
