Job Summary – System/DevOps Engineer
- Support and maintain both on-premises and AWS-based systems and infrastructure.
- Build, configure, and manage AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, APIs, etc.).
- Script, create, and modify Jenkins pipelines to automate code deployments.
- Configure and maintain Apache and Nginx web servers.
- Design, build, and support Docker containers and containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes/ECS).
- Perform system analysis, performance tuning, capacity planning, and trend analysis.
- Prepare and execute change plans for system implementations or updates.
- Provide technical guidance and documentation; participate in on-call rotation.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and network teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance.
- Utilize scripting (Bash, Python), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI), monitoring/logging solutions (Splunk, New Relic, CloudWatch), and version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).
- Manage networking (load balancing, firewall rules, certificates) and database administration (MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Employ Agile tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, and Redmine.
- Requires 3–5 years’ experience in Systems Engineering/DevOps and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
