SQL Database Developer (Little Rock, AR)
- Maintain and support an existing Access/SQL system to keep daily operations running smoothly.
- Prepare clear documentation for system processes and workflows.
- Build and maintain MS Access applications, including database structure, query tuning, and basic VBA work.
- Use Visual Basic for Applications and ADO for application tasks.
- Separate MS Access databases into front-end and back-end components when required.
- Convert Access macros, modules, and queries into SQL logic.
- Write and fine-tune stored procedures and help migrate tables from MS Access to SQL Server.
- Rebuild MS Access forms and reports into browser-based applications.
- Work with the QuickBase application development platform.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to understand needs and offer technical solutions.
- Experience in public sector or similar environments is a plus.
