Job Summary (List Format): Manufacturing Engineering Technician (CNC Programmer/Machinist)
- Senior-level CNC programming and machining role in precision medical device manufacturing.
- Responsible for process ownership and development of CNC programs for Mazak and Swiss CNC machines.
- Set up, optimize, and maintain CNC machining processes to ensure high quality and efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and support machinists and manufacturing assistants within designated production cells.
- Perform First Article Inspections and detailed precision inspections to validate parts and processes.
- Create and maintain documentation, including setup sheets, SOPs, and process controls.
- Drive continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, and on-time production delivery.
- Support new product introductions and process development activities.
- Work in a regulated, climate-controlled, precision manufacturing environment.
- Participate in a comprehensive onboarding and training program, with uniforms and safety equipment provided.
- Overtime may be required based on production needs.
- Participate in a multi-stage interview process, including virtual, onsite, and hands-on skills assessment.
- Mazak 5-Axis Programmer & Machinist: Focus on Mazak Integrex and Variaxis machines.
- Swiss Type Programmer & Machinist: Focus on Star CNC Swiss machines.
- 8 years of production machining experience, with at least 5 years in CNC programming.
- Expertise in machining, CNC programming, CAD/CAM, blueprint reading, and GD&T.
- Experience leading machinists in a production cell.
- Preferred: Degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology or related field, medical device/regulated industry experience, and proficiency with Mastercam, CamWorks, SolidWorks CAM, PartMaker, or Mazatrol.
