- Provide dedicated GIS support to the State Traffic Operations Center (STOC) and Transportation Mobility & Safety (TM&S) teams.
- Collaborate directly with TM&S staff to understand operational needs and translate them into effective GIS solutions.
- Observe workflows and gather requirements to identify and implement GIS opportunities that enhance routing, signal operations, and incident management.
- Administer and manage ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise environments, including web mapping and cartographic tasks.
- Utilize Survey123, Field Maps, and Experience Builder to support field data collection and application development.
- Employ Arcade & Python scripting for automation and customization of GIS solutions.
- Translate non-GIS requests and meeting discussions into actionable GIS outcomes, demonstrating strong communication skills.
- Apply GIS methodologies specifically for public safety applications and transportation systems.
- Supervise or mentor junior staff as needed.
- Leverage previous state and public sector experience to ensure successful integration with existing systems and processes.
