Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines (both lathe and mill) safely and efficiently to produce precision parts.
• Setup and Program CNC machines
• Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and inspection plans.
• Load/unload parts, inspect work using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
• Monitor machines for proper operation and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Perform basic machine maintenance (change tooling, clean area, etc.).
• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts produced.
• Work closely with senior machinists to learn setup procedures.
• Demonstrate a willingness to take on increasing responsibilities over time.
  
  

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum of CNC machine setup and programming experience.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of G-code and CNC controls is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow into a setup role.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.
