Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines (both lathe and mill) safely and efficiently to produce precision parts.
- Setup and Program CNC machines
- Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and inspection plans.
- Load/unload parts, inspect work using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
- Monitor machines for proper operation and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Perform basic machine maintenance (change tooling, clean area, etc.).
- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts produced.
- Work closely with senior machinists to learn setup procedures.
- Demonstrate a willingness to take on increasing responsibilities over time.
- 2 years minimum of CNC machine setup and programming experience.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of G-code and CNC controls is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow into a setup role.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.
Salary : $22 - $40
