- Design, build, and operate backend services for fintech payment, trading, and settlement platforms.
- Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot microservices handling high-volume financial transactions.
- Investigate, debug, and resolve complex issues in distributed systems and production environments.
- Own backend features end-to-end, from implementation through deployment and support.
- Build reliable APIs and workflows with a focus on scalability, data consistency, and fault tolerance.
- Collaborate closely with US-based product and engineering teams to translate requirements into backend solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to technical documentation, diagrams, and code reviews.
- Contribute to overall engineering and organizational goals by completing related tasks as needed.
- Participate in code reviews and continuously improve backend reliability and engineering quality.
- Operate backend systems in cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
- Work in a fast-paced, product-driven, and collaborative environment.
- 3-5 years of professional backend software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot in production systems.
- Experience building/maintaining APIs and backend services at scale.
- Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with microservices, distributed systems, and asynchronous processing.
- Experience across the full SDLC: architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance.
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in banking, payments, trading, or financial systems is a strong plus.
- Experience with Spring AI is a plus.
- Highly hands-on and enjoys writing/owning production code.
- Thrives in startup/high-growth environments with evolving requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English; comfortable working with global teams.
