Role Description
At Packgen, we take pride in delivering high-quality, reliable solutions to our customers, and that starts with having the right people on our team. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Commercial Operations and Procurement Manager to play a key role in supporting our sales efforts and ensuring seamless execution across our operations.
This role serves as a critical link between sales, operations, supply chain, and finance, owning the processes that ensure orders are accurate, costed correctly, and delivered on time. This is a hands-on (on site, not remote) position for someone who takes initiative, solves problems, and drives outcomes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
Own the order execution process from quote through delivery, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with customer expectations
Partner closely with outside sales to develop pricing, prepare quotes, and support customer follow-up
Develop and maintain product costing models, including materials, labor, and manufacturing inputs
Analyze MRP data, inventory levels, and demand signals to support procurement and material planning
Coordinate with operations and shipping to ensure on-time, accurate fulfillment and resolve issues proactively
Maintain and improve BRC protocols, documentation, and compliance standards
Manage supplier documentation and support supplier qualification processes
Prepare and oversee export, shipping, and customs documentation
Maintain accuracy of customer accounts, pricing structures, and order setup within ERP systems
Act as a cross-functional point of contact, coordinating requests and driving resolution across departments
Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce errors, and increase efficiency
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience)
Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively across teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (analysis, not just data entry)
Solid understanding of costing, pricing, and basic financial concepts
Experience working within manufacturing ERP systems (Macola experience a plus)
Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and manage multiple workflows simultaneously
A proactive mindset. You take ownership and follow through
Who You Are
You take pride in your work and hold yourself accountable. You don’t just complete tasks, you look for ways to improve them. You’re someone others rely on because you consistently follow through, communicate clearly, and step in where needed to keep things moving.
Why Packgen
At Packgen, you’ll be part of a team that values hard work, accountability, and collaboration. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact, build cross-functional expertise, and grow within a company that’s committed to delivering for its customers every day.
