Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Construction Quality Control Manager, based in Manchester, NH, with the flexibility to work remotely for part of the time. The role involves leading quality control processes for construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and codes. Responsibilities include conducting site inspections, preparing reports, coordinating with project teams, identifying quality risks, and implementing corrective action plans. Additionally, the manager will maintain project documentation and support efforts to uphold safety and efficiency standards.
Responsibilities
- Planning and enforcement of the CQC Plan.
- Perform site CQC orientations for all workers, employees, and subcontractor employees.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with contractual and quality standards.
- Maintaining daily CQC inspection reports.
- Creating and maintaining a culture that values quality in a positive manner.
- Attending pre-construction, progress and other projects and staff meetings.
- Participating in training and other forms of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work to continuously improve the company CQC policies by attending training and sharing knowledge with other employees.
Qualifications
- Expertise in quality control procedures, standards compliance, and risk assessment
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to perform thorough site inspections and produce accurate documentation
- Solid knowledge of construction safety practices and regulations
- Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Proficiency with construction management software and tools
- Excellent communication and team coordination skills
- Strength in developing and implementing corrective action plans
- Previous experience in government, healthcare, commercial, or industrial projects is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Relevant construction certifications are required (e.g., OSHA 30, CQM Certification)
