Position: Injection Molding Operator – 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shifts
Location: Lapeer, MI
Shift Schedules:
1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
(All shifts are 8 hours)

Lapeer Plating & Plastics is seeking dependable, hands-on individuals to join our team as Injection Molding Operators. If you’re detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and eager to grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you!
No experience needed – full training provided!
What You’ll Do
Operate Machines: Run injection molding equipment and monitor production.
Inspect Quality: Perform visual checks to ensure parts meet quality standards.
Trim & Finish: Clip or trim excess plastic from molded parts.
Record Parts made and scraped on paperwork: Complete hourly scrap and production reports
Pack & Organize: Accurately pack completed parts into containers.
Material Handling: Load/unload raw materials and finished goods.
Maintain Work Area: Keep your station clean and safe, following 5S and company safety standards.
What We’re Looking For
Must be 18 years or older.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions.
Team player with the ability to work independently.
Physically able to stand, bend, and lift up to 60 lbs. during a shift.
Reliable transportation and excellent attendance (especially during the 60-day probationary period).
Commitment to safety and use of required PPE.
Basic math and reading skills to interpret work instructions and labels.
