Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Location: Lapeer, MI
Lapeer Plating & Plastics, Inc. is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team. This role is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, guiding business strategies through data-driven insights, and ensuring the overall financial health and growth of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting functions, including payroll and accounts payable
- Prepare and publish monthly and annual financial statements
- Lead month-end close and financial reporting processes
- Develop and manage annual budgets and weekly forecasts
- Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations
- Manage and coordinate internal and external audits
- Track and manage capital and tooling projects
- Perform cost-benefit analyses to support business decisions
- Monitor vendor contracts and support negotiations
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
Authority
- Approve accounting decisions and financial strategies
- Authorize vendor payments and approve invoices
- Approve capital expenditures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (CPA preferred)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, procedures, and financial reporting
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with manufacturing ERP and payroll systems required (QAD and ADP preferred)
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
