Position Overview: We are seeking a friendly, upbeat and highly organized individual who loves working around animals to join our team in reception. Candidates along with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Our CSRs are the first and last impression our clients have, so we are looking for someone who brings warmth, professionalism, and confidence to every interaction while helping keep our hospital running smoothly.
Work Schedule: Four day workweek: 8 am - 5 pm, with same day off, Saturdays: 8 am - 12 pm, on a rotating schedule
Responsibilities:
- Warmly greeting clients and their pets upon check-in
- Manage a multi-line phone system to schedule appointments and triage calls.
- Utilize cloud-based software for invoicing services, processing payments and generating financial reports.
- Ensure exam rooms are thoroughly cleaned between patients and the reception is kept clean and maintained throughout the day
- Efficiently handle emails and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally
- Demonstrate and continue to develop knowledge of common veterinary terminology, services, and products to assist clients effectively and support accurate medical and service coordination in the hospital
- Manage client records and payment processing to ensure the accuracy of information
- Working collaboratively with veterinarians and veterinary assistants to support workflow and deliver seamless patient and client experiences
