Prep Baker / Dishwasher
Lantern is looking for a reliable, hardworking Prep Baker / Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in supporting their coworkers, keeping an exceptionally clean workspace, and helping produce consistently great donuts.
No advanced baking experience is required, but you must be dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a busy kitchen. For the right person, this position offers the opportunity to learn additional skills, including rolling dough and frying donuts.
Responsibilities
- Accurately scale and measure recipes
- Mix batters according to established recipes and procedures
- Prepare ingredients for daily production
- Assist the donut fryer as needed
- Wash dishes, utensils, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors
- Perform general kitchen cleaning
- Keep workstations clean and organized throughout every shift
- Follow food-safety and sanitation standards
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed
- Support the kitchen team wherever help is needed
