Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, implementing effective HR strategies, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. This role requires a proactive leader who can enhance employee engagement, and foster a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company goals.
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and new employee onboarding.
- Design and facilitate comprehensive safety training during onboarding, ensuring all new hires meet certification standards.
- Administer employee tool and PPE assignments, maintaining accurate inventory and accountability records.
- Oversee daily safety compliance by auditing and filing inspection logs for heavy equipment (cranes, forklifts) and fall arrest systems.
- Foster a thriving workplace culture by serving as a trusted partner in resolving team concerns and mediating constructive solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations, and workers compensation.
- Design and implement employee training and development programs.
- Monitor and manage employee performance through effective performance management processes.
- Manage benefits administration and payroll processes.
- Provide HR-related guidance and support to management, offering best practices and solutions.
- Conduct regular audits of HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
