We are currently seeking a motivated Project Administrator to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction estimating and project management, with room for career growth and advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Estimators, Project Managers, and our Billing Department in preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and other project-related expenses.
- Support the preparation of RFPs, submittals, and bid proposals.
- Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing information and develop strong industry relationships.
- Manage and organize project plan documents; distribute plans and updates to field crews.
- Serve as a liaison between field teams and the estimating department to ensure project information is accurately shared.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, and twist as needed.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to talk and hear clearly in a work environment.
