BILLING & ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE COORDINATOR
M.T. Laney Co. Inc. is a premier paving & construction site contractor with established years of experience. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Billing & A/R Coordinator to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for a professional with a background in accounting, contract administration, and project coordination—particularly within the construction industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide administrative support to Project Managers
- Prepare and process invoicing and billing, including AIA billing
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), including collections
- Review contracts and bid submission
- Maintain historical records by scanning and filing documents
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 years of accounting experience
- 2 years of contract administration
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work with constant interruptions
- Self-starter who works well independently
- Ability to prioritize given tasks and work efficiently towards completing them
- Detail-oriented and exceptional organizational skills
- Experience with digital file management
- Strong problem solver and analytical thinker
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
SALARY/HOURLY EXEMPTION:
- Full-Time, Exempt Position
- Salary based on knowledge, experience, and education
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:
- Sit for prolonged amounts of time
- Walk, bend, kneel, and twist
- Must be able to communicate effectively (talk and hear)
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds on occasion
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or GED is preferred
EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years of accounting experience
- 2 years of contract administration
