| Position Purpose: | Contributes to student academic success and completion by assisting students in their study of Fabrication/Welding Technology. Assists students to become successful and independent learners by using SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, OF & plasma cutting, blueprint reading, forklift operation, overhead crane, air-carbon arc cutting, various machine tool operations related to forming, cutting and drilling, and other lab/shop equipment to improve their critical thinking, problem-solving, study strategies and ability to make connections between Fabrication/Welding concepts and applications. |
