Required QUALIFICATIONS
| Required Education: | Master's degree in speech, Communication Studies, or a related discipline from a regionally accredited institution with at least one course in Communication Theory. |

| Position Purpose: | To teach a variety of communications courses as assigned. Participate in departmental and other professional activities on- and off-campus. Teach in a learning environment that puts students first. This may also include online courses. |

| Supervision Statement: | Faculty report to a department or division dean, and perform instruction-related duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies, and procedures of the college. |
| Physical Demands/Working Environment: | This position works indoors and is exposed to usual office working conditions that includes office noises and interruptions, such as printers, telephones, and visitors. Position requires that an employee be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time; perform computer work in the form of word processing, data entry, spreadsheet work, and web-based research for more than seven (7) hours a day. Work involves concentrated mental and visual attention for sustained periods of time. Work may require transporting materials up to twenty-five (25) pounds. Work Safely. |
