| Position Purpose: | To provide high quality instruction to students in Medical Office Assisting, Health Records Technology and related discipline courses such as HO 100 Medical Terminology, HO 150 and 152 (Human Body Systems), HO 112 (Medical Insurance Procedures), and Clinical Assisting I,II, III (MA 110, 120, 130, 150). The exact courses to be taught will be determined by the successful candidate's specific areas of expertise and the division's needs. Faculty are professional educators with the primary responsibility of providing a quality learning experience for all Lane Community College students. The relationship of the faculty member to the student is one of teacher of record and facilitator of learning. |

| Physical Demands/Working Environment: | This position works in varied environments. May be exposed to usual office, industry, education, and commercial working conditions that include noises, interruptions, equipment, telephones, and visitors. This position requires that an employee be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time. May perform cognitive and psychometric work for more than six (6) hours a day.
