Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in retail stores or on the road to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services
- Build lasting relationships with clients through excellent customer service and personalized communication
- Conduct route driving for product delivery, ensuring timely and accurate transportation of goods in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations
- Apply basic math skills to calculate pricing, discounts, and profit margins during sales transactions
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction
- Handle heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when merchandising or transporting automobile parts or equipment
- Maintain organized records of sales activities, client interactions, and route schedules for efficient operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles is preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or commercial transportation is a plus
- Knowledge of pricing strategies, merchandising, and upselling techniques
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and management
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices
- Familiarity with DOT regulations related to commercial driving and transportation safety
- Basic math skills for calculating prices, discounts, and route logistics
- Excellent organizational skills to manage route schedules, client appointments, and inventory levels
- Experience in automobile transportation or retail store environments is advantageous
