We are hiring a Community Leasing & Operations Specialist based in Richmond, Virginia. This is a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for someone with a passion for property management, leasing, and operational excellence.
The Specialist will support leasing initiatives, occupancy efforts, and overall site operations across the Landmark portfolio. This role includes traveling to all Virginia and North Carolina communities to assist during staffing gaps, such as vacations, personal leave, or other absences, and stepping into various office roles as needed, with a strong focus on Leasing and Marketing.
This new role helps to ensure seamless operations within our property management teams. The right person will work with multiple properties, requiring travel and adaptability to different environments. Flexibility in working hours is essential to accommodate needs and property schedules. At least three years of leasing experience is required. The ideal candidate would have APM experience.
While performing the above responsibilities and assignments, you may be required to perform tasks that will require some physical exertion. You must be able to see to a degree that safety is not compromised. You must also be able to effectively communicate with your team, residents, customers and vendors.
Common Requirements for Your Duties:
- The position requires extensive mobility. Frequent inspections and employee supervision require climbing stairs, inspecting breezeways, vacant apartments, new move-ins, etc.
- Other physical requirements such as lifting (up to 50 pounds), bending, reaching, etc. may be required in performing your duties.

• Minimum of 3-5 years in leasing, or a similar role.
• Strong organizational & communication skills.
• Proficiency in property management software.
• Ability for overnight travel.
