Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Self-Employed Cleaning Contractor to deliver exceptional cleaning services across residential properties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in clients’ homes. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of all areas within residential properties.
• Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens for clients.
• Maintain the cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques.
• Use manual handling skills to lift heavy furniture or equipment safely during deep cleans or moving tasks.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning requirements and provide excellent customer service.
• Manage time efficiently to complete scheduled jobs within designated timeframes while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure all cleaning surfaces are properly cleaned and sanitized according to health guidelines.
• Utilize janitorial and custodial experience to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Conduct outdoor work as needed for properties with exterior cleaning requirements such as patios or driveways.

Experience

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning roles, including housekeeping management or janitorial work.
• Familiarity with various cleaning techniques such as dusting, surface sanitation, carpet cleaning, and floor maintenance.
• Knowledge of cleaning detergents, equipment operation, and safety procedures related to heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Prior experience in outdoor work environments is advantageous.
• Strong client communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to manage multiple jobs efficiently through effective time management skills.
• Experience working independently as a self-employed contractor or in a similar freelance capacity is preferred.

Pay: From $55.00 per hour
