A leading global private investment firm with approximately $215 billion in assets under management is seeking a Senior Finance Associate to join its Special Situations team. This role will focus on providing bespoke capital solutions and leveraging technology to support growth and create value.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review internal and external financial statements, P&L/NAV/allocation packages, investor deliverables, and ad-hoc requests
- Coordinate with fund administrators and auditors, and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
- Partner with various teams on strategic initiatives and process automation
- Apply provisions in complex legal documents, including capital call and allocation, carried interest and distribution, management fees, expenses, and investment restrictions/compliance
- Manage comprehensive financial reporting, including daily investment analysis, monthly investor capital reporting, and tax workbooks
- Collaborate with technology teams to implement AI-enabled solutions for accounting systems and reporting
- 2-4 years of experience in public accounting, audit, tax, or a rigorous environment
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency with data and automation tools such as Python, Power BI, and Alteryx
- Four-year college degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA, CFA, or equivalent qualification a plus
