Finance Manager – Private Markets

Company Overview:

A leading global private investment firm with approximately $185 billion in assets under management is seeking to hire a Finance Manager for their Private Markets Group. This role will support the accounting, operational, tax, and strategic activities associated with the firm's coinvest partnerships.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the accounting, operational, and financial oversight of various coinvest partnerships
• Manage operational and administrative activities including cash management, capital calls, distributions, custody processes, reconciliations, compliance reporting, and valuation reporting
• Evaluate and analyze complex investment transactions, partnership allocations, and accounting conclusions
• Serve as a key point of coordination across internal teams
• Support investor-facing activities including onboarding, policy administration, and reporting
• Identify opportunities to enhance processes and increase operational efficiency through technology and AI tools
• Collaborate with stakeholders on strategic initiatives and special projects
• Mentor and develop junior team members
• Oversee partnership reporting deliverables and coordinate with tax advisors on annual tax reporting
  
  

Qualifications:

• 6-8 years of accounting experience in financial services with exposure to investment partnerships, private equity, asset management, hedge funds, or alternative investments
• Background in public accounting, asset management audit, tax, or partnership accounting preferred
• Strong understanding of partnership structures, allocations, and investment operations
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Familiarity with AI tools and technologies and a willingness to adopt emerging AI solutions
  
  

Compensation: Salary: $130,000 – $150,000, Plus Bonus
