Job Responsibilities:
- Build and lead a software organization starting with two engineers and growing toward ten
- Own software engineering hiring, talent development, standards, SDLC, AI-assisted development practices, delivery quality, and resource allocation
- Share major architecture decisions with the data architect and broader Technology leadership
- Management experience required; prior ownership of an entire engineering function preferred
- Agentic coding expertise is non-negotiable
- Regulated-industry experience required; financial services strongly preferred
