A global investment manager in Boston is hiring a Pricing & Corporate Actions Analyst to join their team. The firm is known for its valuation-based investing and commitment to delivering superior long-term investment performance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage all corporate action activities for all accounts/funds.
- Notify Portfolio Managers/Trading groups of all corporate action activity pertinent to the investment process.
- Respond to custodians on behalf of all funds for voluntary corporate actions.
- Review and initiate any ideas necessary to improve processes within the group.
- Ensure securities involved in, or resulting from, corporate action activity are valued correctly.
- Provide observations and recommendations to respective Portfolio Managers and Trading groups where applicable.
- Analyze multiple asset classes, including equities, futures, fixed income, derivatives, and complex OTC instruments.
- Interact with various divisions throughout the firm, including investment teams, fund treasury and tax, and legal and compliance.
- Relevant college degree or commensurate industry experience required.
- 1-4 years of prior financial industry experience required.
- Corporate Actions and/or Pricing experience strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative member of a team.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
