Manager – Investment Operations

Company Overview:

A leading global private investment firm with approximately $185 billion in assets under management is seeking an experienced professional to join their Credit Operations team. The role focuses on providing operational support across various investment strategies and asset classes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of investment operations with a primary focus on reconciliation functions for Credit businesses.
• Oversee and manage the day-to-day work of internal and external teams, ensuring timely and accurate completion of deliverables.
• Build, manage, and enhance relationships with internal clients and external partners, including prime brokers, trading counterparties, administrators, and custodians.
• Develop, modify, and manage workflows and procedures to increase controls and improve efficiency.
• Lead root cause analysis of data quality issues related to specific investment strategies and assets.
• Establish actions for the team to execute and track progress and control.
• Responsible for staff development and coaching of direct reports.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience in a complex financial services industry.
• Prior management experience within Credit Operations required.
• BS or BA with finance and accounting basics.
• Experience with Bloomberg and other trading and settlement software platforms.
• Familiarity with legal documents and credit agreements.
• Experience in Advent Geneva preferred.
• Solid Microsoft Excel skills.
  
  

Compensation:

Salary: $120,000 – $138,000, Plus Bonus
