IT Manager

Company Overview:

A growing private credit firm with approximately $2 billion in assets under management is seeking a hands-on IT professional to manage and enhance their internal technology environment. This role will serve as the primary internal IT resource, partnering closely with an outsourced IT help desk provider while supporting the day-to-day technology needs of investment, operations, and investor relations teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary internal point of contact for all IT-related matters
• Coordinate with outsourced IT help desk to ensure timely resolution of tickets and service requests
• Provide hands-on support for escalated technical issues (hardware, software, connectivity)
• Manage onboarding/offboarding processes, including user provisioning, device setup, and access controls
• Maintain IT documentation, policies, and procedures
• Oversee firm infrastructure including laptops, mobile devices, conferencing systems, and office network
• Administer core systems such as Microsoft 365, VPN, and remote access tools
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices
• Manage endpoint protection, email security, and data loss prevention tools
• Act as liaison between the firm and outsourced IT provider
• Lead or assist with IT-related projects
• Provide on-site IT support across the firm’s offices in New York City, Santa Monica, and Palm Beach
  
  

Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of IT experience, preferably within financial services
• Experience working with outsourced or managed IT service providers
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 ecosystem and cloud-based infrastructure
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and best practices
• Experience with networking fundamentals (firewalls, VPNs, Wi-Fi)
• Strong troubleshooting skills
  
  

Compensation: Salary: $140,000 – $170,000, Plus Bonus
